I landed on the base during the highest contamination as a Woman Marine and no one mentioned this to you when you were introduced to your command. Young women Marines, Wives of Marines and children. The EPA knew what was going on in the 80s as they were testing fish samples all around the base. Imagine, we were even fishing and eating those fish contaminated. The wholes situation is a disgrace and disgusting. I have done interviews, awareness etc. yet the Government no matter the administrations has allowed the nonsense of no retribution to go on for a very long time. The Navy still stalls on our claims and no one does nothing.
