Proof we live in a Simulation?
Is the universe mocking us?
This is an actual photo of an actual event. It looks like a frame from a dystopian sci-fi film, but it’s reality. Is it proof that we are all cosplayers in a warped simulation created by a teenage alien coding in his parent’s basement in another dimension?
The symbolism is open to interpretation, but it is so blatant and ham-fisted that it forces me to question the fabric of our shared dream known as reality.
Like the surveillance video of that kid murdering the health insurance CEO, it’s too perfect!
It seems to be composed, not random. As a visual communicator, I cannot believe that these are not designed motifs. They insist that a designer played a hand. They mock us with the kind of snark that informs a dank meme.
The video of the assassination of the CEO is composed as if it was directed.
The assassin and the victim are both perfectly positioned in the frame as is the entire scene.
I have worked on advertising campaigns, documentaries and nearly every genre of image making for four decades, and the odds that these images were captured by non-creative spy cameras is like a billion to one in my professional opinion.
DO these events foreshadow a dark future? They bring to mind Chekov’s Gun. And they keep me up at night.
Not in fear, but wonder. As conscious beings, we live in an impossible and infinite mystery novel called existence.
I try and distance myself from the spectacle, as if I was Mr. Spock witnessing human behavior.
“Fascinating, Captain.”

Teachings from the Pleiadians
"The ultimate tyranny in a society is not control by martial law. It is control by the psychological manipulation of consciousness, through which reality is defined so that those who exist within it do not even realize that they are in prison."
Barbara Marciniak
The story of the assassin’s capture, sitting in a McDonald’s with his backpack containing the weapon and manifesto, suggests whomever they apprehended for the murder is a patsy.
