That was awesome! I really enjoyed reading about your experience working in the trenches of consumerism. People don't typically think about the amount of work that goes into all of the stuff and things they buy, whether it came off a store shelf or via a delivery truck. Working in any consumer driven blue-collar job is exhausting, mentally and physically. "I'm too old for this shit." is my daily mantra but that sense of accomplishment you get from getting your hands dirty is hard to ignore. It's all very Sisyphean.

This is really great writing. I'm very impressed and properly reminded of the strength - both physical and in character, the values and dignity of hard working people -that you as well possess. The Food Lady has it right too. Thank you so much for going in there and reporting on a "day in the life of". You are remarkable!

Cosmic brother, thank you so much for this. Not just for the superb written account, but for helping to remind many of us about the common plight, sweat, and toil of the common hard-working Americans (same for other nationalities) who, unlike the parasitical "elites" who provide next to nothing for society, keep the economic machine turning.

We are indeed returning to an Orwellian / Dickensian era. They have purposely eradicated (90% complete) the middle-class to have a two-tier society (à la 'A Tale of Two Cities').

But the good news, my friend, is that I think we are reaching the limit of their [repeated] experiment. Look at the million+ who recently protested last week in the U.K. As the pain sets in harder and harder, the masses' elastics have reached their limits and are are snapping back.

As we move closer and closer towards 2030, I see a mass revolution that will destroy their plans and set them back another century. We got the numbers and God on our side, they only have lies, deception, and the weaker devil.

Well done, Anthony. That's a great experience. Oh, the irony! That's hysterical that you were put in the incompatible section, handling the burdens of decadent culture.

Laborers deserve our respect. Their reward is physical strength and agility, pride in their own self-reliance -- if not appropriate monetary compensation.

I'd like to know when people are going to learn to live with "less is more ".
